Welcome back, classicists!
I hope you’re all ready for a marvelous year: you have, I am sure, all noticed the particularly excellent array of course offerings for the year, what with the return of most of our history professors and the quantity of Homer in the offing. The CSA has many things up its sleeve for you outside of the classroom, so keep an eye out for announcements on our listserv, our Facebook page, and, of course, this website.
Our first adventure of the year will be next Friday, September the 14th. At 4pm we will join battle against our dear friends and rivals, the History Students’ Association, in a game of human chess at Parc Émilie-Gamelin (near Berri-UQAM). As we are technically one department, perhaps this can be styled a civil war?
If it rains, the game will be postponed until Saturday the 15th.
