The Seventh Annual Montreal Classics Colloquium (March 19-20) is coming up, and McGill is looking for speakers!
Every year the Classics Students’ Association of McGill, in conjunction with l’Université de Montréal and Concordia University, organizes a colloquium to discuss a myriad of topics on the ancient world. Currently, we are looking for speakers (both undergraduate and graduate students) willing to present their research. Speakers may present on any topic related to the Ancient Mediterranean world. This may be a topic on which you have written a paper, or can be something that you are interested in and have worked on independently. Presentations should be 20 minutes in length, and may be in either French or English.
If interested, please submit a 250-500 word abstract to classics.students.mcgill@gmail.com, and feel free to contact us with any questions. The deadline for submissions is February 15.
